The thoughtfully designed studio comfortably accommodates up to four guests with two premium queen sleeper sofas that provide a comfortable sofa-by-day, bed-by-night experience. Whether you're exploring the Outer Banks or simply relaxing on the property, Elderberry is the perfect place to unwind.
Step outside to your own private patio featuring cushioned seating and bistro-style furniture—ideal for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. One of the studio's most memorable features is its unique garden-style outdoor bathroom, offering a one-of-a-kind experience that blends comfort with nature.
Traveling with your four-legged companion? Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a pet fee. Please notify us at the time of booking so we can provide pet guidelines.

Elderberry Studio is one of three accommodations located on the Bostwick's Magnolia Manor waterfront estate. It may be rented on its own or as additional lodging for guests attending weddings, family reunions, retreats, or other special events held at the Manor.

A Heart for Hospitality, Rooted in the Outer Banks
Born and raised on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, with family roots here dating back to the 1600s, I’ve had the privilege of calling this remarkable place home my entire life. Growing up just minutes from Bostwick’s Magnolia Manor gave me a lifelong appreciation for the natural beauty, rich history, and unmistakable character of this special corner of the coast.
Hospitality has always been one of my greatest gifts and joys. To me, welcoming people is about much more than providing a beautiful place to stay or gather. It’s about anticipating what someone might need before they have to ask, noticing the little details that make people comfortable, and helping guests feel genuinely at home from the moment they arrive.
Whether you’re coming to Magnolia Manor for a family vacation, reunion, retreat, getaway, wedding, celebration, or another special event, I want your time here to feel personal. I love helping guests discover the Outer Banks I know and love, sharing local recommendations and experiences, assisting with special plans, and finding those extra touches that can turn a simple stay into a treasured memory.
For weddings and events, that same spirit of hospitality extends to the entire experience—from helping families and wedding parties settle in to working through the countless little details that bring a celebration together. For our overnight guests, it may be as simple as helping you find the perfect local experience or making sure you have what you need to relax and enjoy your time together.
